In October, part of our team attended Atlassian team '24 Europe in Barcelona to experience first-hand the latest updates and innovations - developments that help teams around the world achieve even better results.

From new tools for strategic planning and AI-supported assistance to enhanced security solutions - the event brought with it a host of exciting announcements and practical innovations.

For all those who were unable to attend in person, we have summarised the most important highlights and announcements here.

Discover enterprise knowledge with Atlassian Rovo

Since Atlassian announced Rovo in May, it has helped beta users do things that weren't possible before: unlock enterprise search for the entire company, distill company information into personalized chats, and deploy specialized Rovo agents to save hours of work. Just five months later, Atlassian is making Rovo generally available. Initial feedback shows that nearly 75% of users can get their work done faster with Rovo.

Announcing Focus, Atlassian's new enterprise strategy and planning solution

The new enterprise strategy and planning solution helps leaders set strategic priorities and execute their own planning strategy. Focus is the central hub that organizes teams, work, goals and budgets and is available for free with a Jira Align license.

Jira is simpler and more flexible for every team's working style

Even more flexible for all teams! At team '24 in Las Vegas, Atlassian unveiled the next evolution of Jira - a common place for every team to align goals and priorities, track and collaborate on work, and gain the insights they need to create something incredible together.

Now at team'24 Europe, Atlassian is introducing new features (and a new look!) that make Jira easier, more flexible and more powerful for all kinds of work, helping to transform siloed organizations into connected enterprises.

Other updates announced during team'24 Europe

Jira Product Discovery Premium: Product managers now have even more data-driven insights and flexible product roadmaps.
Atlassian Guard Premium: Now generally available! Guard provides data protection, content inspection and threat detection in the Atlassian Cloud to protect data and teams.
Loom + Confluence: Many new features, including live pages, audio variables in Loom AI and the ability to record Loom videos directly into Confluence. Simply use the new buttons in the menu bar, in comments or the /loom command!
Compass Premium: Now live with 40 governance templates, 100+ customizable metrics and scorecards to help development teams scale their internal platforms efficiently.
Jira Service Management: Virtual Service Agents are now available for Microsoft Teams and the JSM Help Center and support multiple languages. AIOps in JSM accelerates incident handling and Rovo Agents increase the efficiency of incident response teams.

These new features and tools are based on the robust Atlassian Cloud Platform and are a further step towards helping companies worldwide to remain agile and efficient in a complex working world. Particularly large and demanding customers such as Rivian, Glovo and OVO are already benefiting from the scalable Atlassian infrastructure.
